Health and Housing Partners

Why we need partners

People who need health or housing support don’t always know where to start. Even when they do, one obstacle is reluctance to confide in an unfamiliar person in an unfamiliar place. Or it could be as simple as lack of transportation.

Who comes to us

Centre 507 is grateful to partners who set up shop in the drop-in for a few hours each week—the Royal Ottawa Psychiatric Outreach Team, Housing Help and the Centretown Community Health Centre.

What they do for us

The Royal Ottawa Psychiatric Outreach Team provides assessment, short‑term interventions and links to other services. Housing Help searches for accommodation and advises on how to avoid eviction. Centretown Community Health Workers provide links to healthy living and eating, diabetes management, addiction counselling and crisis support.
